The cabin was built in 1985 and is on a cement slap and the frame is iron. There's a woodstove plus fireplace in the living room. We put in new tiles on the floor this year, new plumbing and a new toilet. The well is good. There are two lofts and the very top loft has a bed in it. The main loft has two beds, which come with bedding, a dresser, lamp, phone, alarm clock and some extras. It's carpeted. The kitchen is totally furnished with dishes, cups, glasses, some pots and pans, silverware, cooking utensils, coffee pot, toaster, micro wave, frig, a small freezer, a 1888 wood cook stove and one side of the stove has propane.
The main living area has a couch, love seat and chair and a dining table to eat at. Two large picture windows to look out the front with a view of the mountains. The bathroom has a shower with extra storage. There is a TV and a VCR here also. We don't have it hooked to satellite but satellite is available.
There is a washer in the bathroom and a dryer in the out building that is also a storage and workshop. It's a metal building that is about a 30' x 15' or 20' that is used as a storage/workshop space.
It's on a gravel road and there are about 20 other houses. All the homes are build on 4 to 10 acres. From Joseph, Oregon, you head south like you would be going to Imnaha and turn right at the 39 highway, which heads you east to Halfway, Oregon. It's about 38 miles to the gravel road cut off. Then 8 miles to the cut off to the Imnaha Woods Residential area. |
