He and his littermates started having solid poop yesterday....yeah.­ Today, they have started drinking out of the water dish. Micro Munchkin is now drinking DHR mini piglet formula from a dish and eating some solid foods. On his one week old birthday, Munchkin weighed 16 ounces. He is projected be an adult between 40 and 50 pounds. Both his parents and grandparents are micros. His father is a white, his mother is a dark silver.

Micro Minis are 55 pounds and smaller as adults, not 75 as other breeders can advertise. Teacups are the next larger size class. A teacup can be from 60 to almost 100 pounds as coined and defined by PennyWell Farms in Britain. As a mini pig's size class and individual size gets bigger, the price gets smaller. As a mini pig gets smaller, the price gets bigger and harder to find.

Munchkin is very affectionate. He likes to suck on fingers, nibble on toes, and try to climb up my leg. He gets lots and lots of care and attention. He will be placed when weaned from bottling. He should go to his forever new home and family at about six weeks of age. Placement on Friday November 13.
