Send An Angel, Formerly Send Me An Angel at Yahoo Groups, began accepting applications for the 2009 Holiday Season on Oct 1st and we are in need of Angel Donors to adopt families in need of Christmas Dinner, and Christmas Gifts for children.

In 2008 we received over 200 applications from families in need and with this being our third year I am expecting that this number will climb significantly as more and more people learn about our program.

Help as a group. Get you friends, family, and co-workers involved.
Choose a family or families from our list of applicants and hold a food, clothing, and toy drive for them. Send the gifts in the mail, deliver them in person, or make it extra special and have a Christmas party for the family or families that you help.

Give the Gift of Giving. Adopt a family on behalf of a loved one as a special gift and share the joy of helping a needy family.

Privately adopt a family who you personally contact and meet..

Be a Secret Angel, Choose a family from our list of applicants and Send An Angel will contact them on your behalf with the good news. We will work with you and the family by contacting them with any questions that you have. When you are ready you just send the gifts in the mail, send a gift card, or shop online and have the order shipped to the family or to Send An Angel if the family is local to us Salem County or is willing to meet me half way to pick up their gifts.

If you want to help but do not have time for the adoption process I am accepting donations of Food, Clothing, Baby Items, New unopened toys for children of all ages, Very gently used toys for children of all ages, and Gift cards to Supermarkets and Department stores. I will be collecting these donations until December 18th and am hoping to get enough that I can adopt at least 2 families for Christmas. When the families are chosen I will contact everyone who donated to let them know where their donations are going. Donations can be mailed or arrangements can be made to pick up if you are with in a reasonable driving distance from me.

Applications are ready for review. If you would like to see an updated list of applicants please let me know and I will get it back to you ASAP.
