My name is Cheryl and I live in North Georgia.I live in a 1 bedroom government housing apt. I lost my job after being there for 17 years about 6 weeks ago. I know why but I cant prove it.I was looking for another job when my car tore up on me.To fix it is Radiator, anti freeze, and labor--$150.Thats not bad at all.But I dont have $150.But I did get me a job at McDonalds morning shift biscuit maker!Thank you Jesus! My friend said she can take me to work in the mornings(4:30am)but­ I will have to walk home.Its only a mile.It will be 3 weeks before I get paid. They get paid this Thursday and we get paid every 2 weeks.My bills are not going to wait till then.Besides my car being tore up, my lights are fixen to be cut off. The light company gave me an extension till Oct.16th.All I have to pay to keep them from cutting them off is $126.36.But I dont have it. Is anybody out there that could help me??? I have no family thats able to help me.I have called welfare, salvation army, churches, EOA office, and nobody has any funds.My car insurance is due Oct.18th.$76.And they dont have a grace period either. I dont know what to do except turn to the world. I started putting ads in on the internet.No help yet.I am even willing to pay it back in payments.Please if you or you know of someone that can help please go through my email and let me know. My son, his wife, and 5 kids (4 are step) got flooded out of their home a few weeks ago in Trion Georgia. They lost everything but some clothes.They did not have renters insurance. They even lost their only transporation.(van)T­hey didnt have nothing but libality insurance on it. It was under water for 3 days and when the water went down it got towed in. It was not worth fixing so my son just signed the title over to him for the towing bill. That was so sad and broke my heart.They just paid their last penny $3000 cash money for it 6 months ago out of their taxes.They were so proud of it because they could all fit in it.Red Cross did pay for a weeks motel room but now thats up and they had to move in with me.I gave them my bedroom and the baby sleeps with them and I took the couch. The other 4 sleep on padletts in the livingroom.People­ did give us plenty of blankets and pillows.Our church did give us $25 but we had to use that for gas to people running us around.The kids lost all their toys and baby dolls.So if anybody can afford $1,$2, or even a toy or baby doll please let us know. We are so desparate.My daughter in laws mother is in the hospital in Fayetteville Georgia and she cant go see her because she has no way and no gas money.From what I hear her mother is in real bad shape.If anybody wants proof of anything I am saying please just let me know and I will get it to you. Please if anyone can help we would be so much greatly appreciated. I dont have anybody else to help us. This all for real.You can call my light company if you want to to verify this.
