A bowed basement wall used to mean thousand of dollars in expensive repairs and lots of damage to your lawn, landscaping, and perhaps your buried utility lines such as water or electrical supple lines, maybe even your sewer or septic tank. Our system is located entirely INSIDE your home meaning no expensive damage to the outside of your home.

Our massive Upper Mount is firmly attached to your floor joists and is adjustable. Unlike other systems which glue fiber strips to your wall, our system, with careful maintenance, not only stops further bowing, but can actually cause improvement in your bowing walls over time. *

Our Lower Bracket is made from thick 1/4" steel and firmly held in place by 2 large bolts specially designed for use in concrete floors. These can easily be installed using a hammer drill, readily available from most tool rental stores.
All kits come with detail installation instructions and time tested suggestions on additional steps you can take to avoid problems in the future.

Please Note:

Our heavy duty kits come complete with all braces and mounting hardware, but Do Not Include the Steel Posts that are pictured, or, in the case of the Parallel kit only, the 2x10 wooden bracing boards that go between the floor joists.
The reason these posts are not included is simply that they are ridiculously expensive to ship in small quantities. They can be obtained locally at most hardware stores, metal dealers, or machine shops.
The reason the 2x10 wooden bracing boards are not included is because the spacing between the floors joist will vary with each application. These must be cut to fit. These can be purchased from any local lumber yard. Ask if they have any in their scrape bin. They will usually sell these "scrapes" at a discount.

How many should you order?

All of our kit designs are based on our 30 years of hands-on experience in basement and foundation repair. In all those years, we have never seen a basement wall that could be braced with less than 3 kits. Therefore, an initial order of 3 kits or more is required. Any quantity of kits can be ordered as long as the quantity is 3 or more.
You will need one kit for every 4 ft of damage area. When measuring, be sure to add one kit for your starting point.
However, if you should error in your estimation and need one or two more kits to complete your job, or if you over estimated and have a kit you don't need, please contact The Bowed Walls Co at thebowedwallco@live.­com. We will gladly work with you.
