Male double dapple dachshund needs good home. He is a silver dachshund whom will be 2 years old in January. He is really good with children, all he does is kiss. He is pure breed and has all his shots. He does not have breed papers at the moment because they were lost. We can get papers but they do cost more, be cause his dad and mom are ckc he is also ckc which are cheaper than akc they are the same thing. We are trying to sell him without papers, he has been a stud dog a few times. His name is Stitch (disney lilo and stitch), but he will come to whatever name his new family calls him. Stitch does have an eating problem, no matter how much he eats he still will not get fat.Its in his family, is uncle is the same way, uncle was neutered and it helped him gain 3 lbs. Currently Stitch is not neutered, its up to the family if they decide to do that. Stitch needs a loving family mostly with no other dogs, He currently lives with 4 other dogs and always wants to play with big dogs. But he needs the one on one time because he gets jealous when it comes to love/petting/sitting­ on ones lap. He LOVES car rides and being carried into stores.He LOVES is doggie clothes, he will fight you when you try to even take off the clothes: don't leave them in the same room as him when your out because he will pull them down and crawl into them. (i do have pictures of those moments.) I do not wish to sell stitch but he deserves a family whom is just his and love him. Stitch is a great dog, he will be there for you when you need it, he is full of love. He has to get kisses before he goes to bed, yes like a child. he has NEVER been aggressive or showed his teeth. He will bark at bums when they get close, thats the only time he barks. I hope he can find a good family.
Nothing other than his eating problem is wrong with him, its just hard with 4 other puppies and they all eat the same dog food but stitch. He will not eat unless its his lamb and rice dog food but it has to have marrow bones in it, it would not be expensive if the others ate it. So i have to buy 2 different types of food. And thats just expensive.
He just also needs a single dog family or single people.
