- Ages: 6 months
Flopsy is a 6 month old female rabbit. She has a neurological disorder that she was most likely born with (we dont know for sure because she came to us as a rescue, so we dont know her full history). She does not require any special care, and is just like a normal rabbit in every way, the only thing the disorder affects is her balance. She can still hop around normally, but she is just a little off balance. She's very sweet and friendly once she gets to know you, it just takes her a little time to warm up to new people. She likes to be held. I would recommend that she goes to a family without small children or other lively pets. Loud noises and quick movements tend to frighten her. However she would do fine with an older child that was taught to interact calmly and gently with her. I am not asking a rehoming fee for her, but I will ask for either a home visit or a vet reference if you want to adopt her. I want to be sure she goes to someone who is going to keep her as a pet and not feed her to a snake or something. For more information please email or call (860)649-5031. Thanks! <br>
