Super nice prospect. 2 year old Gelding, 30 days under saddle. Very nice boy, very quiet. He is from one of the top Paint Breeders in the Country, Menke Pleasure horses in Iowa. His siblings are top show horses. He is a minimal overo, with a gorgeous flaxen mane, tail. He has just been started under saddle and has not bucked or reared. He has been ridden through a small town (where we live), past cars, dogs, cattle, houses, etc and has stayed calm and collected, we ride him with an experienced horse along and he does not learn to spook that way. He is nice and quiet and should excel as a youth horse once trained because of his disposition. He loads, clips, bathes, ties, saddles and stands quiet to be mounted. If you want a GOOD horse that you will want to keep for years then he is your boy. He will make the perfect horse to show on saturday and trail ride on sunday. Can't ride everyday, he is your boy, I only get to ride him once a week, maybe. I just longe him for a few minutes to be sure he doesn't have any play in him and then saddle up and ride, he remembers everything he learned from the lesson before. He is breeders trust, he will earn money for points earned in APHA, and he is also registered Pinto. Nice horse. I will look at trades, but am very specific in what I am looking for, otherwise I would keep him. He has filled out since these pics were taken at the Menke ranch a few months ago. I got him in on trade for a top quality mare that they wanted and I ride mostly huntseatand he is not a huntseat horse. Credit cards and paypal accepted but you must add 3% to the total cost.
