Below are the services I offer so someone can maintain their independence and stay at home:
- Talk to and visit
- Light housekeeping, laundry – organizing, minor repairs, painting, yard
maintenance
- Medication reminders
- Calendar appointments and special holidays
- Open mail and calendar due dates of bills to be paid and try to point
out possible junk mail
- Run errands to grocery store, pharmacy or various shopping
- Shop for reasonable and affordable items (bargain/sale shopping, coupon
clipping)
- Obtain at least 2 quotes before any major repair work is done.
- Try and find transportation through local agencies.
- Assist and remind of personal hygiene (baths, clean clothes)
- Assist with feeding animals, walking dog/taking animals to vet or
grooming appt.
- Research to see if one may be qualified for any state or local
programs, in-home nursing, meals on wheels, food stamps, affordable
housing
- Keeping family informed of status of situation if requested
