Dream Haven Ranch produces some very fancy and fine quality cashmere goats. Each winter and spring, they are loaded with lots of fiber...cashmere.­ The main buck is stunning and incredible in quality and size. His name is Elmer. Elmer stands 29" tall and weighs well over 200 pounds. He has produced kids that are thick with fiber, larger in stature, very gentle, vibrant in color. We love the reds, red cremes, strawberry blonds, cremes, silvers, blues, blacks, whites, and more. We have grown from our original small herd to well over 20 adults, juveniles, and kids. We have been selling, yet there are more quality and rare colors to place. Gentle enough to eat from your hand. Hungry enough to clear brush, weeds, and grasses. Many of the does have udders that hang to their hocks. Cashmeres are great eating. The meat is tender, delicious, almost sweet, and nongassy or greasy like lamb. Looking for a beautiful companion, a milk producer for livestock babies, fiber for weaving and spinning, or fine meat, Dream Haven Ranch has the Cashmere for you.
