| With Over 400 Wrecks to Explore, Bermuda is a Wreck Diver's Paradise For many divers, their main reason for diving is to explore shipwrecks. Sunken ships have long been a favorite of divers for their historical and archaeological value. There are many wreck sites the world over but none more popular than along the shores of Bermuda. Diver's can explore nearly 400 sunken ships, some dating from the 1500's, and many in shallow water with some resting no more than 35 feet deep.
Both the novice and experienced divers will find exciting wrecks to explore, whether it is a Spanish galleon, a 19th century paddle steamer, or a modern freighter. Two of the most popular wreck sites are of the Nola, an American Civil War blockade runner, and the Constellation; a wooden sailing ship built in 1918 and sunk in 1943. Read more....
