Very sweet and friendly Tortoiseshell cat for adoption. We call her Penny because of her copper color. She is a 2-3 year old female. Her colors, as shown below, are black and orange (or copper). She showed up in my backyard a few weeks ago and after much effort we have not been able to locate her owners. She is GREAT WITH OTHER CATS AND MY SMALL DOGS. I would love to keep her but I already have SEVERAL other cats and dogs. She now has ALL HER SHOTS, and will be spayed by the SPCA within the next week (at my expense) since we can't be sure she is already spayed. She is not very vocal unless left completely alone. PENNY WOULD DO BETTER IN A HOME THAT ALREADY HAS AT LEAST ONE OTHER CAT. She seems to get vocal when left without a human or at least a companion kitty. I know Penny was someone's beloved pet because she is not shy at all. She would probably do fine with children since she didn't even seem to notice my little dogs. Penny enjoys lounging around her house and occasionally in the backyard too. Primarily she prefers to remain indoors. If you are interested in Penny please CALL 903-816-1107. Adoption Fee $40.00 to protect her and help offset the cost of her spay and all of her shots.
