The Effective Free Classifieds

The story is about a woman, Nora, who is on a mission to find her long lost sister Tess, who contacted her months ago, before suddenly comes up missing. After several phone conversations with Detective Coltan, who is in charge of Tess’ case, Nora decides to go to Philadelphia to do some investigating for herself.

Until a few months ago, Nora hadn’t seen from her sister since she was 12 years old. Nora ran away from home when she was 16 years old, to live with her grandmother, because Tess’ father was sexually molesting her. Nora told Tess that she would one day come back to get her, but Tess’ and her father soon disappeared.

Thirty years later, Nora gets a call from her sister Tess, who says that she needs to see her right away. Tess tells Nora that she will contact her in a few days with more information. Months go by, and Nora doesn’t hear anything from Tess, and Nora begins to worry and contacts authorities, so they investigate Nora’s complaint and respond weeks later that Tess seems to be missing.

Nora visits the park adjacent to the mental hospital where Tess use to work and meets a woman with schizophrenic tendencies. As they enjoy the together and observe all the ridiculous things happening around them, they learn that they share a very dark past and that the secrets of Pandora’s box, doesn’t hold a candle to what they’ve discovered about one another.

This play is hilarious, and it has its sad moments! It will make you laugh; and it will make you cry, so hold on to your seat!!!
