This is wonderful for fleas. We have not had a single flea since we started using this 5 years ago! Rub into your pet's coat if you ever have fleas and it will kill them! For ear mites, simply powder your dogs ears. It can kill ants, flies, or any insect. For heartworm preventative, since this is from a mosquito bite, simply rub it into your dogs fur once a week. Heartworm medicine is extremely toxic! Put it in your dogs bed. Put on windowsills for ants. Make into a spray and use it on plants or for flies.

Natural Diatomaceous Earth (DE) also known as “food grade”, is the remains of
microscopic one-celled plants (phytoplankton) called diatoms that lived in the oceans and lakes that once covered the western part of the USA and other parts of the world. These deposits are mined from underwater beds or from ancient dried lake bottoms.
The insecticidal quality of DE is due to the razor sharp edges of the diatom remains. When DE comes in contact with the insects, the sharp edges lacerate the bugs waxy exoskeleton and then the powdery DE absorbs the body fluids causing death by dehydration.
Even though this is a natural product, you need to use care when using it as far as the dust goes. You don't want to inhale it into your lungs as it could cause problems.
