i have a very nice looking black spot spiny eel. over a foot long, eats very well, frozen shrimp, small fish. trianed to eat from hand. when you put your hand in the tank he comes up. does not bite but does expect food!!! this is an aggressive fish can not be keped with fish that will fit into his mouth or other eels. he is with with small puffers, angel fish, garomies, black skirt tertas, giant danios. he does fine with smaller eels, i have 2 babies but not an eel that he must compete for food or space. this eel will be over 3.5 feet long in a few years. a large tank (55min right now with a 125min when he is full gorown) is needed with a secure lid as they tend to jump out. he has 23+ large black spots from his face down his body and tail that you can not see in the picrue. please ask all questions.
