Looking for tall dark and handsome (or red, fawn or blue and cute) doberman for long walks, romantic (or not so romantic but very cuddly)nights on the sofa watching movies like "my dog spot, milo and otis, all dogs go to heaven" no "cujo" or "pet cemetary" shows though, I scare very easily.... In all seriousness, I am looking for a doberman companion. I miss the love and companionship they offer. I lost my last one to osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in January and well, my life seems pretty empty without my dobe! There are way too many dogs in shelters for me to spend 3000.00 for some champion line doberman. I am not interested in akc, ckc, ukc or any other type of papers (after all the dog can't read them anyway) I am a stay at home wife - No kids, No job, husband is a Dr on call quite a bit and 1 weekend out of the month and 2 weeks in the summer he goes away in his camo to defend our country as a fine MARINE... I just want a companion to hang out with... do you have one you want to give away? or adopt for a reasonable fee? It's not that I can't afford a dog, or that I mind paying for a dog... it's just there are way too many abandoned pups out there for me to give an arm and a leg to obtain... Rescue Dogs are the BEST!!!! If you cant afford your dog, or have moved and the landlord says "no dangerous breeds" let me know.. I'll love your dobe like it was a child - pampered and played with every day of the week!
