Our stud dog is named Desiree Scout Of Highlands, aka Scout. He is owned by East Coast Westies, a small family run kennel dedicated to breeding only the best, healthiest West Highland White Terriers. We breed for health, temperament, and conformation.
Scout is almost two years old and is a proven, much sought-after stud dog. He is great in the show ring and a statue on the judging table. Scout is also a great pet when he is not showing off. He consistently draws a crowd on walks in the park. Scout rarely ever barks and is wonderful with children, adults and other pets.
Some of his attributes include: *Level straight topline *Excellent temperament (calm indoors and active outdoors.) *Beautiful round head and face with a short snout. *Perfect carrot shaped, high set tail. *Wonderful white harsh outer coat and thick undercoat. *In short- a picture of the breed standard for the Westie.
All our dogs live in our house with our large family, receiving only the best of veterinary care and nutrition, along with plenty of love. Scout is AKC registered and is a true Champion-in-the-making. We fully intend for Scout to be a finished Champion by fall 2009.
