The process of “Auto Detailing” at Wow Auto Detailing begins with a careful and meticulous hand wash. Special attention is given to areas that often go neglected such as, between the doors, all door/hood/trunk/fuel­ door jambs, wheel openings, wheels and tires, lower body sections, and engine compartment (upon request).

After washing the body thoroughly, the technician will use a clay bar with special lubricants to remove surface contaminants and microscopic particles that have adhered to your paint. This is an especially important step to perform before polishing the paint because it is those abrasive microscopic contaminants that cause wheel marks or “swirls” to occur.

Your car’s finish will then be carefully and professionally polished, removing scuffs, light scratches, brightening the finish and exposing a rich luxurious shine. Paint chips and small scratches are touched up with the correct color paint, followed by a hand rubbed application of pure carnauba wax to protect and enhance its high gloss.

Each surface of the interior is comprehensively cleaned to look and feel like brand new again using specific equipment, precision tools and time proven techniques. Carpets, mats, seats, trunk and all fabrics are thoroughly vacuumed and gently steam-cleaned. Leather surfaces are cleaned, air dried and softened. All vinyl trim and rubber components (such as door seals, hoses, weather stripping, etc.) are cleaned and treated with special preservatives to help keep them supple and functioning properly.

All chrome and wheels are hand polished, hinges and locks are lubricated, windows are perfectly cleaned and then every remaining speck of polish and wax residue is removed from the exterior emblems and seams with a soft bristled tooth brush.
