If you received a Summons and Complaint for a Foreclosure proceeding, you MUST serve an answer within 20 days, sometimes 30, otherwise the bank wins by default. Answering your Summons and Complaint can stall foreclosure so you can have a few months to save money to move. (Making mortgage payments once the Summons and Complaint is served will NOT save your home.) Serving an Answer means the bank has to follow court rules, which takes a lot of paperwork and time.

I am not an attorney, however I have been through this process myself and have prepared Answers for others. I can prepare an Answer to your foreclosure Summons and Complaint that will stall your foreclosure. If you choose to get an attorney later to fight it, they can serve an Amended Answer in a certain amount of time. The important thing is to serve and file with the court an Answer to the Summons and Complaint within the deadline specified in the Summons.

As a document preparer, I can type up your Answer for $25, and you can serve it "pro se." (You will have to get this document notarized.) For another $25 I will file and serve the Answer. (Postage to mail the documents will likely be around $18 or so and this will include postage up to this amount.) This document will NOT save your house, but it WILL stall the foreclosure process. I accept paypal, money orders, gas cards, prepaid credit cards, walmart gift cards, whatever form is easiest for you.

I will need the $25 first payment when you mail back your notarized papers before I serve, and the next $25 after preparing documents and before service.
