Vinnie is a fun-loving blue merle male Border Collie puppy. He was born February 26th, 2009. Both parents are OFA certified Good hips and Normal Elbows and are CERF certified. Vinnie has been to a canine opthamologist and has his paperwork to be CERF certified as well. He also visited the vet for his well-puppy checks and did great! He is up-to-date on his shots and wormings. Vinnie loves to be around people and to run with his owners. He should be able to do it all: obedience, rally, agility, flyball, herding, or just be a loving companion. His mother has her CD, RN, and CGC titles and has competed extensively through 4-H, winning several state awards and a national championship. She also works on our family farm with our sheep and goats, although she is out of cattle and horse lines. The sire is an extreme people dog and is excellent at agility. Vinnie accompanies his mother on her visits to the local nursing home, and tags along with us to 4-H meetings and family barbeques for plenty of socialization. He was raised in our home with cats, other dogs, and small parrots. We are working on housebreaking and other house manners.
