These dogs are so much fun and full of love! They've been socialized since birth (went on Bourbon Street the day they were born!), and are not what most people think of when "chihuahua" comes to mind. They are docile, well-trained, and love attention even from strangers. They are perfect for children, but not meant to be a child's pet.

These dogs are meant to be CONSTANT COMPANIONS and are not for people who go to work and leave their dogs at home. They currently go with us every where and are never kenneled during the day for more than four hours. They go out for extended exercise and playtime, and are socialized with people DAILY. They are very small, but can keep up with anyone we know. They are playful and fun, and can make most anyone feel better about most anything, just by being held. They are perfect therapy animals, and have begun training to be service animals. This means they are good off-leash in most situations, and are very well-tempered in public, no matter the location.

The puppies are all six months old, and their mom, Cassandra, is about 2 1/2. She was found by a dumpster in South Austin and changed our lives forever. We are now dedicated to making the most awesome tiny animals and sharing them with people who truly need them.

The puppies are all named after our favorite tequilas, hence they are the Tequila Crew (largest to smallest): Herradura, Hornitos, Corazon, and Sauza. Hornitos is the only boy and not up for adoption, but may be studded in the future.

An adoption contract and a fee will be necessary for anyone wishing to go home with any of the girl puppies. The contract will describe various details of caring for the animal and will stipulate that the dog be returned to us should you decide not to keep her for any reason. The adoption fees are to reimburse us for all of the care and training we have given the puppies so far, NOT FOR OUR PROFIT. It is impossible to raise an animal and give it everything for 6 months and actually make a profit. This will become clear once spending any amount of time with the dog, and calculating the time, effort, and expense involved with its training.

The adoption fees for each of the three puppies that are available are as follows:

Sauza (2.5 lbs.) - $1500
Corazon (3.5 lbs.) - $1000
Herradura (5 lbs.) - $800

The adoption fees will be reduced for anyone wishing to take two or all three of the dogs, as we would prefer them to stay together if possible.
