Surviving foreclosure is not rocket science!!

Let's start first by coming to a consensus on why there are so many foreclosures. First and foremost there were way to many of these seminars promoting techniques that involved almost anybody being able to go to a bank or private lender and say " hey lender i dont have credit, i dont even own my own home, i have no business plan, no money, but what the heck i have found a good real estate deal, give me the money to buy the house with no money down and no credit checks".

Well maybe it was the banks/ private lenders saying this to their clients, but who cares! It is just plain irresponsible to take out these usurious loans and continue to inflate values through speculation and down right fraud. This Crisis was simply FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD, PERIOD!

The only way that we are going to get out of this situation is if people wake up and smell the "INTEREST'. The days of people getting a no money down loans are simply over. The days of super inflated real estate prices are over, and the people need to do what ever they can to save their credit and preserve their sanity.

This can be done in many ways but here are a few:

1) Come down to earth on your asking prices! For example, if a simlilar house down the street in similar condition to yours is now listed for $175,000, what makes you think you can get $300,000 for yours? Lets be real with our selves! Your home is worth what people are willing to pay for it, PERIOD! Get an idea of what is selling in your area by getting two appraisals from a reputable company, which can usually be done by getting a referral or searching online. Or, you could go to websites like www.moveup.com for a free assessment.

2) If you are already in foreclosure, do a shortsale or loan modification ASAP. Sometimes when liffe throws a curveball you have got to hit back. And trust me, you dont want to have a foreclosure or a bankruptcy on your credit!! You can even get a LOAN MODIFICATION KIT and do the whole thing yourself, many of these kits only cost $30-90 and can be found online by searching google or yahoo, and they come with a money back guarantee.

3) Stop being greedy! Period. I now this may sound like number one up top, but in essence, we must realize that greediness is the reason we are in this trouble in the first place. Let snap into realty and get this country back to where it is suppose to be dealing with reality and focusing on our priorties, not making a killing by pushing up values.
