Her name is Kindy. She is a female (she was blood tested). She is approximately 15 years old and I have had her for approximately 12 years. (for those not familiar with Cockatoo life, they live for 70 to 80 years). I purchased her from Todd Marcus Birds Exotic in Jersey. She is extremely friendly and gentle. Her vocabulary is limited. She know general stuff like her name, "how you doing", pretty girl, etc. Her favorite foods are wings, cheerios, pizza and pasta. She is very good with other pets. I have a rescue maltese who is 8 years old, a 2 year old maltese, and yorkie puppy (1 year old). She feeds hot dogs and pizza to my 2 year old maltese. She loves to be held. She will sit on your stomach and tuck her head in your neck. She loves being pet under her wings. I clip her wings myself. She is good with it. She also loves baths. She is a pretty quiet. She's not a screamer. My son plays roller hockey on a semi-pro team and we travel to different cities for his games. I dont think it is fair to Kindy to be alone for extended periods of time and that is why I am letting her go.
