About a week and a half ago, I rescued a Maine Coon mix and a Tabby (both males) from a rental that I manage where the tenants just moved out and left their cats behind. I took them home because I couldn't bear to take them to the Humane Society. However, I found that when I brought them home, my cat didn't exactly "roll out the red carpet" for our new guests. Frankly, neither did my boyfriend. They're both super sweet, loving, and wonderful with my kids! They really are great boys, it's just that they absolutely can't stay with me permanently.

They both have claws, they're neutered/vaccinated­ (now) and everybody uses the litter box just like they should. Also, I'm finding that when I put out the cardboard scratch pads, my carpet and furniture is safe! Vet estimates Tabby to be approx 1 yr old and Maine Coon to be approx 2yrs old.

I would LOVE to see them go to a great home (together or 2 separate homes ok)!! In exchange for 1 or 2 sweet, sweet boys, I would ask that you chip in whatever you can to help reimburse me for the vaccinate/neuter cost. Any little bit would be great! If you can show me what a GREAT home they'll be in, I am open to making them free.
