| Aloha! Thank you so much for your interest in Polynesian dance! I am elated that you might like to learn more~
Everyone has different reasons for why they want to pursue Polynesian dance. I am very flexible as I am eager to accommodate your needs, so if you have a special request, by all means do not be shy! I want to work with you and will consider all aspects of the situation so that we both work towards a solution together. For example, I have dancers request that their private lessons be longer than an hour and I have dancers who need a special program tailored just for them due to a past injury. Whatever it is, let’s discuss it~ Your happiness is my utmost priority! Please read on, and if you have any questions whatsoever, do not hesitate to contact me. I would absolutely love to hear from you and look forward to learning a little bit about you as you learn a little bit about Hula Moves~
Mahalo & have an extraordinary day!
Much love and aloha,
~Jennifer Leilani Adams

What classes are available?
I happily teach the following:
-Traditional Hula (Awana and Kahiko) -Traditional Tahitian (Aparima and Otea)
Who can take classes?
Everyone and anyone! I get so excited every time I hear that someone new wants in on the fun! Dancing is my passion and I find it absolutely thrilling to share the beauty, discipline, culture, and benefits of the Polynesian dances. I work with a variety of dancers: male, female and of all ages…from 2 years old to 60 and up! If you think you may have a challenge or two with learning how to dance or with working on technique, please do not let that deter you! There is no reason why you cannot enjoy the rewards of delving into the healing, exotic culture. Whatever the encumbrance may be, we will take it into consideration and together we will hammer out a realistic plan of action so that you too, can be a Polynesian dancer! I am eager to hear how I can assist you. I look forward to discussing your aspirations and towards helping make those dreams come true~
What to expect:
Classes are held in an intimate, casual in-home studio unless specified otherwise. Dancers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and to bring a material large enough to wrap around the hips and short enough to fall just above the knees so that movement can be seen adequately. This is time for you to unwind, learn, and have fun! The environment is safe, relaxed and non-judgmental. All dance levels are welcome! Jadams (San Diego, CA) |
