Varied group of vintage 1900-1940 post cards. This is the first in a series of sales to disperse the remarkable personal collection and early store stock of noted Connecticut antiques dealer Louise Mondani Graham, who died in August. From the mid-1950s until 2005, Graham operated her old-school antiques business, Brass Bugle Antiques, from a well-patronized barn in Cornwall Bridge, Litchfield County, Connecticut. The building gained acclaim after it was chosen to be the subject of an artwork by Graham's close friend, the noted New England painter Eric Sloane (1905-1985). This estate includes never seen sketches from Eric Sloane and original art. These postcards have been packed away and in some cases untouched for half a century. This lot includes a certificate that everything came from the Estate of Louise Mondani Graham, owner of the Brass Bugle Antique Barn in Cornwall Bridge CT.
There is a total of 60 post card lots all together. Pictures of all post cards are available, email me at Estateroadshow@yahoo.com and I will gladly send them to you. Shipping is available! Estateroadshow (Beverly Hills, CA)
