PARTNER WANTED FOR COLLISION CENTER

I am seeking a partner. Working or silent to help me expand the second location of my custom collision center called Ghost Images at 3206 South Dixie Highway, Pompano Beach, Florida.

We do it all in our 7000 square foot facility from direct repair contracts with insurance companies as well as custom show cars and frame off restorations.

My work can be seen at www.myspace.com/ghostlymattr and at www.ghost-images.com as well as in movies, music videos, magazines and our TV show starts filming in January.

All equipment and staff are in place I just need some capital to renovate before the TV show begins so I am opening my door to someone and letting them join me in an established business.

I am serious about numbers and business is everything. Please don’t waste my time and if you are serious you will be a part of an amazing venture that just keeps growing and growing.

We hold all certifications and permits and are a licensed and insured shop with our own towing service.

Filming starts in January so you must be ready to follow through by December 1.

HERE IS WHAT I BELEVE IT TAKES TO OPERATE A GREAT COLLISION CENTER:

CUSTOMER SERVICE Let the customer know that we are here to make a stressful time in their lives as stress free as possible. Keep communication with the customer: in other words call them before they have a chance to call us and keep them informed on the status of their vehicles repairs. It is not a simple task but a necessary task to keep clients coming back.
HONOR This goes towards customers and staff. Never lie to customers. Be honest about the status of the repairs. Do not tell a customer a vehicle is in paint and then they ride by and see the vehicle is sitting out back with a dent in it. Technicians need to know that we are all there for one thing and that is to make money! I will never create an environment where the techs are at war with the office. We will work together as one smooth operation.
RENTAL POLICY I develop a courteous but firm policy when it comes to rental cars. We will assist them in talking with their adjusters but we are not in the business of paying for rentals. It is an expense that will ruin a shop and create too many headaches.
PARTS Make sure that any unused parts are sent back to the proper vendors for necessary parts credits. Keep expenses at a minimum. I personally like using the customers last name as a PO# to help stop confusion about which part goes where.
PAINT AND MATERIALS Watch Costs! Watch waste!
COMMUNICATION AND DOCUMENTATION Make sure that the estimators and management call in on supplements and document parts that are damaged with photos. Document every conversation with customers and insurance companies. Basically CYA. Never put the collision center in a position where we do not get paid.
CANCERS I am about team players and I look after everyone that works under me. I WILL NOT tolerate an employee that starts a soap opera in the shop by bringing down the morale of the shop by talking about others in a negative way; or goes from person to person bad-mouthing the company in which they work.
IRATE CUSTOMERS Every once in a while a customer comes along that just cannot please. I will not let my estimators be cursed at or threatened. I handle these customers personally and have ALWAYS been able to find a way to make the customer come around and understand the process of repairs.
ORGANIZATION Make sure that all files are documented on the file with conversations, dates, etc..; anyone that works in the office should be able to pick that file up and know what state of repairs the vehicle is in or be able to answer any customers questions if the person handling the repairs happens to be absent. I also like to use a smooth operation board where the estimators are color coded so the secretary can look at the board and know exactly which estimator is handling which customer. I also like a copy of the parts invoices in the file so that when it comes to final billing everything is right there in front of you.

I an the type of person that leads by example and I never panic or become overwhelmed by any situation. I run a type ship without any drama and create a friendly atmosphere based on customer service that makes the customers and the staff thankful to be there. I want a collision center that everyone can be proud to be a part of.
