- Breed: Chow/German Shepherd - Ages: 11 - Weight: 65-70 pounds - Color: Rusty- brown-tan
I have a German Shepherd/Chow Mix Dog who is GREAT with kids, people, other dogs. His name is Lucky. We’ve had him six years (He is 11 years old) and due to circumstances beyond our control we need to find a new home for him by November 26th because we will be moving into an apartment that does not take dogs. He is totally house broken. In the six years we’ve had him, he has never made a mistake in the house. Even when occasionally a couple times we forgot to remove the doggy door security plate all day, he still never made an error going in the house. He waited till we got home and let him out. His only bad vice is cats.
My grandchildren can do anything they want to him... try to ride him like a pony, sit on him, brush his hair, pull his hair and he just lays there. His disposition is more of a German shepherd, but his looks are more of a chow. He has the tail like a chow (curls) and tongue like a chow and long hair like a chow. He weighs approximately 65-70 pounds. He was professionally groomed at Petsmart. He got the "Top Dog" grooming which included the "Lion Cut" which is conducive to the Chow Breed. The doggy door will go where he goes if you need one. I am not asking for money for him, I just need to find him a good home. He is definitely an in-door dog. Please let me know if you are interested or know of someone who is interested as I cannot/will not take him to a shelter. (I don’t know what I’ll do if I can’t find someone to take him, but...) Thanks for looking. Luckyone (Glendale, AZ)
