| Extremely rare antique heirloom 1909 wall map of Santa Cruz, California produced by a turn of the 19th Century horse-drawn moving company, as shown in the accompanying photographs. In good condition, aesthetically and cartographically excellent, sealed in a glass-faced picture frame. Historical wall maps like this one were intended for practical use, so detail on this map is superb. Of particular note in the lower right corner is the company’s horse-drawn drayage wagon typical of the turn of the 19th Century, in addition to the company’s single digit telephone number. Unique wall art, real attention getter, good conversation starter. Size: Printed area measures 17 x 23 inches. Appraised at $1250 by the Slawinski Auction Company LLC, will sell for $1150.
