To all breeders of Shorkie puppies and Shorkie puppy parents. The Shorkie Club Of America is completely FREE!!! and open to all and any shore breeders who are willing to do the genetic testing on all adults they breed and have the in home inspection done to make sure the breeder is a home breeder. No one operating a kennel facility will be accepted. There is no inbreeding allowed and the SCA. We started the Shorkie breed in the USA 18 yrs ago and want to make sure that we do everything to ensure that there is an accurate lineage and proper testing being done as we develop the breed.
Unfortunelty Millen Coutler and Sherry Carter have ads out there and call their puppies Official Shorkie puppies and feel that the Shorkie Club Of America is attacking them. We have only asked them to refrain from using our slogans and terms and graphics to describe there shorkies.
Neither Millen Coutler or Sherry Carter puppies meet the definition of defined by the Shorkie Club Of America to be labeled as Official Shorkie pupppies of the Shorkie Club Of America.
We want to ensure that all puppy parents that if you get a puppy from them they are not puppies recognized by the shorkie club of America
