I am an intermediate school principal who, along with my 7 children, breeds a few of our pet poodles as a hobby. None of my dogs/puppies are kept in kennels, but are very much a part of our family. Many of my dogs have had genetic testing to assure a buyer that, as much as possible, they are getting genetically sound puppies. I have a brown and white toy parti poodle male that was born the Sunday after Easter 2009. He will not be ready until the middle of June 2009.
