You are looking at a 1949 Triumph Renown. You could own this hard to find piece of Triumph/Standard history. It is a project car and is in need of some TLC. It runs, drives and stops. The engine is an early Triumph TR3 engine, and starts and runs with ease but it could use a tune up. The transmission is a 3-speed manual on the column and it shifts okay but needs to be used to work out any stiffness. The brakes work fine and have many new parts. The body has seen better days. It is aluminum and has dents and dings. The wood is in fair condition. The inside needs work, it is not bad for its age. There are rips and cracks in the seats, and some of the door panels do not stay on very well. I would love to see the car go to someone who would like to bring it back from the state it is in and make it a show winning Triumph.
The car does have historical paperwork.
It has two small number plates on the car that read 665187 and J14624.
