6077 miles Manual 4 speed transmission 4 cylinder engine tan interior red exterior VIN: TC6567
This MGTC is a great find. It is registered with the New England MG T Register #10704. It was pictured in an article about the GOF Central Mk. XXVIII, 2006 on page 24 as part of the center fold of the Sacred Octagon: The Bi-Monthly Journal of the New England MG T Register Ltd., Volume 45, Number 1, February 2007. The car was built September 17 of 1948.
The MGTC is a six year old restoration and has been regularly serviced since I purchased the car in 2002. The engine is a 1250cc model XPAG #14729. It has 2 SU Carburetors with a fresh rebuild and a 4-speed manual transmission, all new brakes as well.
Rebuilt starter installed June 1, 2007. It was not operating correctly, so it had to be rebuilt at a cost of $450.00. It is ready for the season... And yes it can be stated with the crank!
One of the features I really like about the TC are the two interior map lamps on the dash. These are turned on with a twist of the lamp, the lighting is perfect for reading. This car is fun to drive! It has won in the top three of many shows across the Midwest.
It has been driven to many register car shows and I know that it is a road worthy example of the MGTC. It stays straight on the road and doesn't follow the lines and cuts like most TC's you'll find. I've even driven it on the interstate highway, though its better when driven on the back roads, it's more fun!
