If you're considering adopting a dog, please consider a rescue dog, such as Hadji. Hadji is a black lab mix that is about a year old. He is up for adoption from Southwest Missouri K-9 Rescue. I was fostering this dog until the end of November, but had to return him to the rescue, because I have 3 dogs of my own and one of them was not adjusting well to having another dog around, although Hadji LOVED all of them! :)

He gets along great with other dogs and all people, including children. He was housebroken, but probably needs a refresher course since he's been put back in a cage for a few weeks. He knows basic commands and is VERY lovable! He has TONS of energy, so he needs a family that can handle that. He also loves to have his belly rubbed and take naps on his back, which is too cute! If you give him toys, he will play by himself for hours, and he also likes to chew on bones and rawhides.

He is a large breed dog that plays like a puppy, so why not skip that puppy training stage and get a wonderful dog that's already been through that craziness and rescue a dog in need at the same time! He would love a large yard to run around in, although SWMO K-9's are adopted to indoor homes only, so he would need to spend the majority of his time indoors with his new family.

His adoption fee is $120, which covers neutering, heartworm testing and vaccinations, all of which have already been done.
