The Wake Forest Farmers' Market, located in the municipal parking lot with the gazebo on South White Street. In the heart of historic downtown, an old-fashioned "street fair" atmosphere.

Open Saturdays, 8am-noon, April through Nov. 17 Special Holiday Market, Saturday, Dec. 15: 10-5 Once a month Winter Market, Jan. 18, Feb. 22, March 22 10-noon. Fresh produce, cut flowers, free-range eggs, home-grown herbs, antibiotic- and hormone-free pasture-raised meats, baked goods, locally raised honey, local musicians and craftspeople, special events. Wave when the train goes by--the engineer always waves back!
