Alex is a super nice Pperformance colt with a great mind. He has been started lightly under saddle, hops in a trailer, stands tied all day. He will pasture with others (geldings). Alex is being taught to yield to leg pressure. He is very light and responsive. You only have to show him something once. He is not hot or excitable, but can get his belly in the dirt and be at the other side of the barn in 0.2 seconds flat. We are just walking him right now indoors as we do not have the area to start him correctly. Alex has the old Quarter horse head. Tiny little ears, huge jaw, big eyes & shallow mouth. He is built & bred to go all day. Alex was also shown in Halter as a weanling & Yearling by my husband (he doesn't show). They were Reserve Champion the 1st time out. They also placed in Open Halter Stallions & Yearling Halter at our Fair. Alex is still a stallion so if you are looking for a foundation stallion, look no further. But hurry, he will be gelded in March and then sent to the trainer for 30 days of training & started on Barrels/Poles. Kandi Sickles (Gary, Indiana) 219-484-6693
