Home Care Provider/ Companion Available Immediately.

I have over 9 years experience working for those that need assistance handling life's many challenges. I have an empathetic/sympathet­ic personality and a willingness to serve others in need. I am patient and diligent. I have letters of recommendation from my two main clients prior to Hurricane Katrina and my subsequent move to Oregon. Both of whom I took care of for 9 plus years on a regular basis in and out of hospitals and rehabilitation centers.

I am willing to help with light house work such as:
dishes
laundry
vacuuming
wiping down kitchen counters/stove tops
cooking and preparing meals (both for immediate use and freezing for future use)
taking out of trash
sweeping floors
organizing

I am also available for helping with or doing grocery shopping, picking up of prescriptions, medication reminders, self grooming, running errands and transporting clients to doctor appointments or taking out to lunch or other low impact recreational past times to provide variety to a clients routines. I have experience with kidney dialysis so I am comfortable assisting clients with any shots they need.

I am a cautious driver and have clean driving record with current insurance and registration. I also have a gps so transporting clients to addresses that I am unfamiliar with will not be a problem.

I am available to help clients with handling monthly bill paying (reading of cable bills and such to assist client), reading books to clients with poor eyesight and am available for various shifts.

I am looking primarily for long term employment but am willing to consider temporary work as well. I would like 15 or more hours a week and am willing to provide overnight or weekend care if needed.
