Hello. I am looking to connect with breeders in my area and/or breeders in the neighboring states to Virginia so that shipping is a non-issue, I will be able to pick up the puppy.

What I am looking for is a female Yorkie. I am NOT interested in considering a mixed "designer" pup, a "regular" Yorkie is fine with me. I AM interested in a blue & gold female, AKC registered, approximately 5-6 pounds at full-size, medium length nose to "Teddy Bear" faced, ears & nose "proportionate" with the rest of the face & body, full registration. "House trained" to "nearly there" is preferred over "paper trained". I'd like to take possession of the puppy around Christmas (if delivery Christmas Eve or Christmas morning is an option...I'd be willing to pay a bit extra for the option). My daughters (ages 9, 8, 5 and 1) and I have discussed getting another Yorkie (I grew up with them underfoot and so have my kids, well...the older three did) and we've decided that the puppy will be our main gift this year for Christmas.

I am a stay-at-home, work-from-home Mom so the furbaby will not be by herself for long - just short trips to the grocery store and the like.

I won't have any issues with vetting the puppy as we will sign up with PetSmart's Banfield wellness plan. I'd like to be in the price range of $1000 or less.

Please send pictures and details about the puppy and her parents. Please email me with any questions. The puppy should be born already and not an expected whelp. I don't have a problem taking a 3-5 month old at Christmas time in case you are willing to hold onto the puppy until Christmas. I don't have a problem taking an older pup as long as she is house trained and there is a price difference. I am not interested in bringing home a 6-8 week old puppy - its too young to leave Mom & it still needs to learn how to be a dog.
