BY MANY PEOPLE IN THE INDUSTRY THIS IS CONSIDERED THE BEST VACUUM OUT THERE. THE LIFE EXPECTANCY ON THIS UNIT IS OVER 30 YEARS. YOU KIDS KIDS WILL BE USING IT TO CLEAN THEIR HOUSES.
As for the 5 Year warranty on both motors. Because we know and sell TriStar's, my father has agreed to honor the 5 Year warranty on both motors, since he likes tinkering anyways! If for some odd reason you should have a Dead on Arrival machine, we will replace it immediately.
Also if over the course of the 5 years, a motor should break due to defect in workmanship, you can ship it to us and we will fix it FREE of charge. Its our commitment to you as an existing TriStar distributor.
(But to be honest, we have yet to open up either motor on the new MG2!)
