Persian Hand Knotted Iranian Wool Rug

$699.00

- Condition: MINT

PERSIAN Hand Knotted, Sarouq design Iranian Wool Rug $699----approximate age 0-10 years old MINT--------MINT-----MINT Condition NO STAINS, marks, or imperfections and the fringe is even and clean. SIZE 4'6" x 7'2" including the fringe. It comes from a pet free, smoke free, children free home!! The base is a cotton weave (to hand knot the wool to) I took all the pictures from the same angle which is the lighter end. Each persian rug has two hues that can be seen from each end of the rug. That is, all persian rugs have nap; they look lighter in color when you stand at one end of the rug and then a deeper color when you stand at the other end. This is indicative of an excellent hand knotted, hand dyed rug. The full picture is a perfect example of the colors, any shading that you see is the camera NOT the rug. I will take more pictures if you are interested, however, see is believing. Come and see the RUG!!! YOu will not be dissappointed. The border is creme, with navy, full bodied salmon, muted turqoise, and deep reds. The center main color is a full-bodied salmon, then accented with the same colors of navy, muted turquoise and deep reds. The pictures of the border and medallian show the detail of the design. The best way to ascertain the quality of any Persian rug is to look at the bottom. The colors of the bottom should be EXACTLY the same as the top;this shows that the dye is throughout the rug evenly and the hand knotting is exact. This is a fine example of a traditional hand woven carpet. It is not tufted, hooked or machine made. It is a true hand knotted Oriental rug. This particular one is woven with home dyed wool. The colors are produced in the traditional way by using flowers, leaves, tree barks and roots. Great color combination consisting of many different colors... The floral accents add to the esoteric beauty of this fine work of art under foot. Trade names for Sarouks include: Feraghan, Viss, Mohajaran Sarouk or Sarough, Sarouk, Mahal, Mushkabad. The pictures do not show the absolute perfection in this rug.... Check out the following!!!! LOOK ------------------LOOK--------------------LOOK
